Time and how you can help create a "BUZZ."  

As a performing/recording/working my a*** off musician, the biggest challenge I face is time.  Time to do everything that's necessary to move my career in a forward direction, time for my family, time to just reflect and think and write new songs.  Not all of these things are direct and immediate sources of revenue.  Oh, did I mention, I've got to make a living in there somewhere too?

I'm not one who typically asks for favours or help.  But all the website creation, facebooking, email updates etc cannot replace a good old fashioned word of mouth buzz.  Nothing is more effective than a personal recommendation.  It's like you're letting them in on a secret.  So here's your mission (if you choose to accept it).  If you are truly a fan of my music whether it be my solo work or my work with The Scones or Ike & Martin, I would like you to simply SPREAD THE WORD.

Here's a few ways you can help:

Get on out to London Bridge Pub at Wharf #2 on Saturday Oct 22nd at 9:30PM.  I will be there and so should you be.

I will be back at Bistro Beaujolais this Fri & Sat from 7-10ish.  Come out and get a head start to your 4th celebrations.  You can even razz me about how you beat the Brits way back when.  I've got a great retort to that!  Also tune in your radio to KPIG 107.5FM on Sunday morning from 10AM to 12 Noon.  I will be on performing some of my stuff.  Cheers!

CHECK OUT THIS WEB SITE:  http://ikeandmartin.com You've got to make it to South Lake Tahoe this summer.  Scones founders Ike Marr and Martin Shears have reunited to play a series of shows at two choice locations on the lake.  Now thru September 1st, Ike and Martin play every Thursday at the Beacon from 2-6PM and then at the Fresh Ketch from 7-10.  We will also be playing one full weekend per month for those of you who can't make the Thursday gigs.  We are 3 weeks into it so far and it's going great.
